KRAFTON India releases the BGMI 4.1 Update Preview Video. The video gives a glimpse of upcoming features, themed mode, Royale Pass and more. Check out the new map features and items below.
BGMI 4.1 Update: New Map Features and Items
- Penguin Town Hot Drop: A new hot drop location in Erangel is introduced, featuring a Penguin Town where players can find loot, including a timer-based loot crate inside the Penguin Statue.
- Fish Rocket Launcher: A new, unconventional weapon that can be used to shoot and damage enemies.
- Ice Gadgets: New gadgets include one that can make enemies slip on ice and another that functions as a flamethrower, which can be used to launch oneself.
- Blue Fin Tuna Syringe: A new consumable item that increases your health and allows you to run faster than a bullet.
- Looting Enhancements: New mechanics allow for looting even after being knocked out (in the “tomb”) and collecting loot from a moving truck.
- Snow Festival: The Snow Festival is coming to Erangel.

Battlegrounds Mobile India 4.1 Update: New Game Mode & NPCs
- Metro Royale Mode: The launch of the new survival mode, Metro Royale, is announced. The goal is to collect loot and safely extract from high-risk zones, which are guarded by AI enemies and Elite Bosses.
- New In-Game Companions: Several new “friends” or non-player characters (NPCs) are mentioned to be found in Erangel, including Thief, Polar Bear, Fox, Ninja, Blacksmith, and Penguin.
BGMI 4.1 Update: Cosmetic & Seasonal Content
- Royal Pass: The trailer announces the arrival of a new Royal Pass, bringing new clothes, skins, and emotes.
- Super Cars: The update will feature the addition of Super Cars to the game.
- Ruhan Voice Pack: A new, personalized Ruhan voice pack is mentioned for players.
