The build-up for the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024 season has been brilliant. After raking in Bollywood stars like Shahid Kapoor and Varun Dhawan, the BCCI has gone big. The King of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan, will kick off the second edition of the WPL by performing at the opening ceremony at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
The WPL had confirmed Karthik Aryan as one of the celebrities who’ll perform at the opening ceremony on February 19. They amped it up on February 20 by adding Sidharth Malhotra and Tiger Shroff as the next superstars to sizzle at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Earlier today (February 21), they announced that Varun Dhawan and Shahid Kapoor had joined the already-illustrious Bollywood trio. While all these stars are big, none can match King Khan. Now, all eyes will be fixed on the WPL 2024 Opening Ceremony, with Shahrukh Khan joining the cricket craze in Bengaluru.
