Bangladesh calling, Babar Azam joins Rangpur Riders for BPL 2024 season

Following his great run with the bat in the NZ vs PAK T20 series, star Pakistani batter Babar Azam has decided to join the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) to hone his T20 skills. The former Pakistan skipper hasn’t been on top of his game for the last few months.

Despite starting 2023 on a good note, he ended it with a forgetful ODI World Cup and losing the captaincy of Pakistan. Putting whats happened to bed, the batter has decided to go into full T20 mode by joining the Rangpur Riders for the 2024 edition of the BPL.

This move by Babar Azam is taking the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 in mind. Although, the event is more than four months later, Babar may have decided to prepare for the big event ahead falling in the final in 2022.
