Rajasthan Royals bowler Avesh Khan made a hilarious call back to Sanju Samson as he took a superb catch dismissing Phil Salt. The top-of-the-table KKR vs RR clash is being played at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
Avesh Khan took a one-handed stunner to dismiss Phil Salt in the third over of the game. Taking the catch Avesh directly points at Samson, asking for the gloves and shows him the dressing room.

Why did Avesh Khan take the dig at skipper Sanju?
The celebration was a call back to Sanju Samson’s statement during Rajasthan’s previous game against Punjab Kings. The event in the PBKS and RR match occurred in the second over of the first innings Avesh Khan miscued a fuller delivery angling in towards midwicket.
With no fielders stationed there, Samson and Avesh charged in to capture the ball. Both went for it, but neither completed the dismissal. Samson acknowledged the humorous side of Rajasthan’s attempt and responded with a sly jab after the game.
“It gets a bit tough actually – the stadium is full of noise and when people call, we are looking at the ball, we can’t look who is coming. I need to tell my fast bowlers that it’s a bit easier to catch with the gloves instead of hands,” said Samson.
