Before kicking off his Australian Open 2024 campaign, Novak Djokovic gave an insight as to how a player feels while playing a Grand Slam Final. The Serb has ample experience when it comes to playing on the final day of an event.

Djokovic holds the record for most Grand Slam titles won and finals played, and he talked in length about what goes through his head in such a situation.

Novak Djokovic’s road to the Australian Open 2024 Final

Defending champion Novak Djokovic will start his campaign for a record-extending 11th Australian Open title against a qualifier or lucky loser. Djokovic then has a chance to face Grand Slam winners Andy Murray and Stan Wawrinka in rounds 3 and 4.

However, things will amp up from there. With the possibility of facing last year’s runner-up Stefanos Tsistipas in the quarterfinal and Jannik Sinner in the semi. In the final, he can face familiar foes in Carlos Alcaraz and Daniil Medvedev.

Round 1: Qualifier or Lucky Loser

Round 2: Alexei Popyrin/Marc Polmans

Round 3: Andy Murray/Gael Monfils/Tomas Etcheverry

Round 4: Ben Shelton/Adrian Mannarino/Stan Wawrinka
