Sabalenka’s strong performance against Anisimova included an early break for a 3-0 lead, maintaining control throughout the match. Her next opponent is 2021 French Open champion Barbora Krejcikova, and Sabalenka, with a 5-1 head-to-head record against Krejcikova, remains the favourite.

This impressive winning streak positions Sabalenka as a formidable contender in her quest to defend the Australian Open title, showcasing her exceptional form on the Melbourne Park courts.
