The Australian cricket team has once again been rocked by a Covid-19 case. This time it is skipper Mitchell Marsh, as per a report in Fox Sports, who will have to maintain a fair distance from the other players during the opening T20I match against the West Indies, on Friday, in Hobart.
The report further suggests that Marsh has been cleared to play the match, but will use a separate dressing room area during the encounter, and will keep up with Cricket Australia protocols.
Unfortunately, this is the third such incident in recent times for the team. Earlier wicket-keeper Josh Inglis and Cameron Green had been detected with Covid, and yet, were cleared to play the matches.

Meanwhile, the T20 series against the West Indies, and then New Zealand is crucial for the Aussies, with the T20 World Cup approaching soon. Marsh has been named the captain in both, despite the presence of Pat Cummins.
