Veteran Test cricketer Ajinkya Rahane expressed his ambitions to play 100 Test matches in his career while aiming to do well for Mumbai in Ranji Trophy 2024. The right-handed batter, who is not on the national selectors’ list any longer, is leading Mumbai in the domestic circuit.
Rahane eyes huge 100 Test milestone
As per Hindustan Times, Rahane said that he wishes to play 100 Test matches, while adding that his immediate goal was to guide Mumbai to lift the Ranji Trophy. His remarks came after Mumbai beat Andhra by 10 wickets.
“I’m looking for a do well for Mumbai one game at a time. The aim is to lift the Ranji Trophy and bigger aim is to play 100 Test matches,” said Rahane

Rahane last played for India in Test match against West Indies in Port of Spain in July last year, where he scored 8 runs off 36 balls.
