Social media was flooded with praise after the 31-year-old’s innings. One cricket fan claimed that KL Rahul’s performance would be etched in history.
However, Aakash Chopra, while praising KL Rahul’s innings, remarked that whether the latter’s knock will be remembered in history depends on how much the broadcasters and media showcase it.
“That depends on how much this knock is played up by the broadcasters and the media/SM warriors”, Aakash Chopra replied on X.
Talking about the game, South Africa have made a strong start to their innings in Centurion. Dean Elgar scored a quick half-century to put the hosts in command after losing Aiden Markram in the first session.
