Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have changed the team name ahead of IPL 2024. RCB will now be called Royal Challengers Bengaluru. RCB will take on CSK in IPL 2024 opener on March 22 in Chennai.

It is pertinent to note that all other sides (belonging to various sports) use Bengaluru, and not Bangalore as their team names. This includes Bengaluru FC (ISL), Bengaluru Bulls (PKL) and so on. Though late, the change in the side’s name will be welcomed by their loyal fans in Karnataka.

1. CSK vs RCB – 22nd March – 8 PM
2. RCB vs PBKS – 25th March – 7:30 PM
3. RCB vs KKR – 29th March – 7:30 PM
4. RCB vs LSG – 2nd April – 7:30 PM
5. RR vs RCB – 6th April – 7:30 PM
