However, now that the series is done and dusted, Team India will continue their policy of resting players. With some other player rested, Bumrah makes a return to the starting XI.
Jasprit Bumrah has been spearheading India’s pace attack. However, the Indian vice captain was rested in the IND vs ENG Ranchi Test on accounts of workload management. But now that the series is wrapped up with a few further break days, Bumrah is ready to return into action.
In the Ranchi Test, in Bumrah’s absence, Bengal bowler Akash Deep got his Test debut. He paired with Mohammed Siraj in leading India’s pace attack.
