Gujarat Giants’ all-rounder Kathryn Bryce made a stunning start to her WPL career in her debut game against Mumbai Indians at Bengaluru on Sunday.
After making a crucial contribution with the bat down the order, Bryce bowled a wicket-maiden over in her first over of the WPL.
Defending a low total of 126, Bryce dismissed in-form Yastika Bhatia on the second ball of her spell to provide Giants a breakthrough.
Bryce then bowled 4 dot balls to MI’s explosive all-rounder Nat Sciver-Brunt to put pressure on the defending champions.
Notably, Bryce is only the third fast bowler to bowl a maiden over in WPL.
