With her side, the Mumbai Indians, chasing a big total of 172, the southpaw showed her skills and struck an impressive fifty. Such was Bhatia’s stroke play that even the opposition captain, Meg Lanning, was in awe of the 23-year-old.
Looking to end the powerplay on a high, Yastika Bhatia dispatched a short of length delivery outside off by Shikha Pandey into the stands. Such was the stroke that Lanning was awe-struck and couldn’t even comprehend what the southpaw had done.
