Former cricketers have delivered a one-sided verdict on who is the greatest IPL captain and it is none other than MS Dhoni. Leading the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) since 2008, MSD has led the franchise to lift the trophy five times. Ahead of IPL 2024, ex-cricketers were asked to choose between Rohit Sharma and Dhoni as to who is the best skipper.
MS Dhoni the greatest IPL skipper?
In a special broadcast on Star Sports, a jury comprising of Wasim Akram, Dale Steyn, Matthew Hayden and Tom Moody were asked to vote for their choice of best IPL skipper. The competition was between Dhoni and Rohit Sharma. All four jury members voted for the calm, composed and experienced CSK skipper.
