As usual, India remains ahead with four talented youngsters: Musheer Khan, Uday Saharan, Sachin Dhas, and Saumy Pandey. The three batters dominated the event and ended up as the top 5 run-scorers. Left-arm orthodox spinner, Pandey picked up 18 wickets at 10.27 and was the second-highest wicket-taker in the event.
Hosts, South Africa, produced a one-in-a-generation talent in Steve Stolk. The aggressive hitter struck the ball at 141.61 and hit a 13-ball fifty.
