The Champions Trophy 2025 schedule is set to cause a massive trouble for all the T20 leagues across the world. Be it the IPL, SA20 or the PSL, all the T20 leagues in the world is set to suffer with dates clashing. The Champions Trophy 2025 is set to be held between February and March, which is a peak time for all the other T20 leagues.
Pakistan are the hosts, and few cricketing boards are displeased with the schedule. The primary concern being the scheduling of the Champions Trophy will have a ripple effect on the schedule of the other leagues.

February and March is the time when majority of the T20 leagues take place. SA20 in 2024 began in January and will conclude on 10th February. The ILT20 on the other hand started in middle of January and will get over by the middle of the next month.
The other leagues like BPL or PSL are also slated to run during the first three months of the year. Finally comes the IPL. The mega league is the most decorated T20 League in the world. With Champions Trophy clashing it’s schedule with the other leagues, it can be a recipe awaiting a disaster.
And lastly, the ensuing drama between India vs Pakistan is yet to conclude. The Indian government will not allow the players to travel to Pakistan to play the ICC event. Under such conditions, the tournament can be shifted to a different venue. However, the ICC still has a lot in it’s plate to clear.
