Bowlers GT should retain for IPL 2026

The clock is ticking and perhaps, all teams would have made a decision about their respective IPL 2026 retention lists; the announcement will be made on November 15. Gujarat Titans had an excellent season, and a lot of credit for that goes to their bowling unit. So, when it comes to picking their bowlers for retention, ahead of IPL 2026 auction, it could be a tough call for the management.

InsideSport takes a look at the list of bowlers that GT should look to retain.

Predicted GT Retention List (bowlers)

Rashid Khan: He only picked up 9 wickets in 15 matches, easily his worst season in the IPL, but then you can’t just not retain him. He could deliver big time for Gujarat.

Mohammed Siraj: Had a good run where he ended up with 16 wickets. A tad bit expensive, but still adds value to the team.

Prasidh Krishna: With 25 wickets in the season, he is 2025’s purple cap winner. His economy was under 9 as well, so he stays for obvious reasons.

Manav Suthar: Is yet to play an IPL game, but his stocks are on the rise in domestic cricket. He is a left-arm spinner and cat bat quite well too.

Sai Kishore: 19 wickets in 15 matches. That says it all. He is a must-have in the team for the next season as well.

Gurnoor Brar: He is tall, gets bounce and is doing well domestically. He should play a few matches for GT in the future.

Arshad Khan: This 27-year-old was expensive, but picked up 6 wickets in 9 matches. There must be a reason why he was played for that many reasons and should be retained.
