Only Antim Panghal has secured an Olympic quota so far, and the prospects for other wrestlers clinching a spot in Paris are uncertain.
Last year, domestic wrestling activities were halted due to protests against then Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, leading to the absence of national camps and competitions. Even after the election, the WFI faces suspension by the Sports Ministry, with an ad hoc panel from IOA overseeing administrative affairs.
