List of all records Shubman Gill broke during his century in Delhi Test vs West Indies

Shubman Gill put behind a horror mix-up that ended Yashasvi Jaiswal’s dream of 200 to go big in the second Test match between India and the West Indies. The era of Gill’s captaincy in Test has been extremely fruitful. He began his tenure with a runs-filled tour of England that saw him smash almost all the records. He was in touching distance to break Sunil Gavaskar’s record of most runs in a Test series but remained just 20 runs short. Now, Gill continues to break all the records, now that he has hit his maiden Test century as captain at home.

After opting to bat first in Delhi, Gill made sure to pile misery on the West Indies bowlers. Yashasvi Jaiswal broke the back on Day 1 with his daddy hundred before Gill made sure to march India beyond 500. Well, this has once again shown Gill’s massive improvement as a Test batter. He has not only done a tactical shift but a mental change as well, scoring the last five of his tons in just 12 games. Below are the records he broke after his impressive 10th Test ton.
