Ravindra Jadeja is India’s new-age Kapil Dev, who scores runs at will, and picks wickets in heaps. 2025 has been a year where his batting has even overpowered his very effective bowling, and it must be admitted, that currently he is India’s one of the best Test batters. After scoring big runs in England, including a ton in Manchester, the 36-year-old has continued his rich vein of form.

On Friday, against the West Indies in the first Test in Ahmedabad, Ravindra Jadeja went on to score his sixth Test ton, second of the year, and also the second against the opposition. He brought up his milestone in 167 deliveries, and remained unbeaten on 104 at the end of the day 2.
