India Cricket Team have climbed back to the 2nd spot in WTC Standings 2023-25 with a 106-run win in IND vs ENG 2nd Test in Vizag. Rohit Sharma & Co now have 52.78 percentage points (PCT). Australia are on top of the World Test Championship Points Table while England slip to the 8th spot with only 25.00 PCT. India slipped to 5th spot after a narrow 28-run loss in the 1st Test. However, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jasprit Bumrah apart from Ravichandran Ashwin and Shubman Gill powered India to a win.
India also have two penalty points that do not help their case. New Zealand, South Africa and Bangladesh remain joint third, locked in at 50 PCT.

India at WTC 2023-25
Rohit Sharma & Co began with a 1-0 win against West Indies to begin the WTC 2023-25 cycle after a WTC Final 2023 heartbreak. India followed up the win with a 1-1 draw in South Africa. But the IND vs ENG Test series is crucial for India as it offers a lot of WTC points.
After a loss in the 1st Test, India can still get to 68.52 PCT if they win the remaining three Tests.
In this cycle, India will play 8 more matches at home and 5 away. The next big clash for Rohit Sharma & Co will be against New Zealand. Bangladesh will be the other visitor. However, it’s the Border Gavaskar Trophy that will decide the finalists of WTC Final 2025. India will tour Australia for five Tests in November-January.
