The anthem for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup, set to be hosted by India, has been unveiled weeks before the event. The marquee tournament will commence from September 30 onwards, with co-hosts India taking on Sri Lanka women at the Baraspara stadium in Guwahati. The anthem, titled ‘Bring it Home’ has been performed by acclaimed singer Shreya Ghoshal.
Women’s World Cup anthem unveiled
As per a press release, the song features catchy hook lines like ‘Tarikita Tarikita Tarikita Dhom‘ and ‘Dhak Dhak, we bring it home.‘ India women’s cricket team will be aiming to give their best at the tournament and end their 12-year-wait to lift the trophy since 2013. Fans can enjoy the track and behind-the-scenes video here and it is also available on digital platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, JioSaavn, YouTube Music, Instagram, Facebook and others.
