There seems to be a new twist in the PCB & the issue of extending player NOCs for participation in foreign T20 leagues. Now, as per a report in Cricket Pakistan, the board has decided not to extend the NOCs for national players, restricting their participation. The report states, that the PCB received pleas from the players in ILT20 and BPL, but there is no change in stance for now.
These players appearing in T20 leagues, as has been notified to them, are allowed to play until February 7. It is also learned, that this decision has left many players from Pakistan, who are not even part of the national setup, miffed.
Meanwhile, a player went on to say that, those whose workload management is not an issue, should be allowed to play further in the leagues. On the other hand, the PSL gets underway on February 17.
Also, some of the players have been given different deadlines, going as far as the 16th of the month. This decision, of course, has not been received very well by the ones missing out.
