After producing one of the best fast-bowling spell on Indian soil, Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah won hearts with the bat as he ground hard to provide support to Ravichandran Ashwin as the pair tried to add valuable runs to India’s total on Day 3 of the IND vs ENG 2nd Test.
Coming at number 9, Bumrah played 26 balls and batted close to an hour to frustrate the visitors. Bumrah held his end as Ashwin added 26 runs to extend India’s lead to 398.

India have set a 399-run target for England in the fourth innings. Shubman Gill was the star for hosts in their second innings, slamming 104 off 147 balls. India were in a spot of bother after losing both openers early in the first session. But Gill after few anxiety early in the innings, played a fluent knock to put India in commanding position.
