With almost all teams having played 17-18 matches now in the Pro Kabaddi season 10, the playoffs qualification scenarios are becoming clear. Jaipur Pink Panthers are the only team to have qualified for the next round so far, having played 17, and won 12. They have 71 points for now, and are most likely to finish in the top-2 after the league stages of the PKL 2023-24.
As per the rules in Pro Kabaddi, the top-2 make it to the semis, while the other four go through a round of Eliminators, where the other two semi-finalists will be decided. Insidesport takes a look at teams that could qualify from here and the possible scenarios:
Puneri Paltan
Points table status: 2
M- 16; P-68; W-12
The Pune-based side plays their next match against Dabang Delhi KC on February 5, and a win there would ensure, they make it to the playoffs. They won their last match against Telugu Titans 60-29, and are riding high on confidence.
Probability: Certain to make playoffs.
Dabang Delhi
Points table status: 3
M- 18; P-65; W-11
Despite losing Naveen Kumar in the early stages of the Pro Kabaddi 2023-24, Delhi has managed to battle all odds, and are almost through to the next stage. They have a challenging opponent in Puneri up next, but they have the players to deliver the goods.
Probability: Certain to make playoffs.
Haryana Steelers
Points Table Status: 4
M- 17; P-55; W-10
This is where the PKL points table gets really tight. Haryana, though are fourth on the table, but if a couple of performances don’t go their way, they might just miss out. On current form, having won the last two matches, they should cross the hurdle though. They play their next match against UP Yoddhas.
Probability: Most likely will make playoffs.
Patna Pirates
Points Table Status: 5
M- 18; P-53; W-8
They haven’t lost any of their last five matches, and have shown decent form. At 53 points, they are in a bit of a tricky spot; If the likes of Bengal Warriors and Gujarat Giants hit form, they could slip down. They play their next against Jaipur Pink Panthers.
Probability: Likely to make playoffs.
Gujarat Giants
Points Table Status: 6
M- 17; P-50; W-9
Giants are undergoing a bad patch of form in PKL at the moment, having lost three of their last five. Having said that, they have a cushion of having played a match less than Patna, and can surpass them, if they manage to beat Tamil Thalaivas in their next game.
Probability: Could make playoffs.
Bengal Warriors
Points Table Status: 7
M- 17; P-44; W-7
Bengal have been inconsistent to say the least, and that’s why find themselves in a tough situation, in the business end of the Pro Kabaddi. Mathematically, they can still qualify, with five matches remaining. They would now hope to win at least four outright matches, to go through and be in top-6. They play Gujarat next.
Probability: Mathematically possible.
Bengaluru Bulls
Points Table Status: 8
M- 17; P-43; W-6
There isn’t much separating Bulls and Warriors, in fact just one point. So, they would also have to look for outright wins, if they have to harbour any chances of qualifying. That would also require a slice of luck. They play their next match against U Mumba.
Probability: Mathematically possible.
Tamil Thalaivas
Points Table Status: 9
M- 17; P-40; W-7
After struggling for major part of the PKL this year, Thalaivas has finally found some form, and can upset the apple cart. It looks difficult from here, but playoff qualification cannot be ruled out. They have won four or the last five matches, and play Giants next.
Probability: Improbable, but possible.
U Mumba
Points Table Status: 10
M- 17; P-40; W-6
Even though Thalaivas and Mumba are on same points, but going on the current form, it looks highly unlikely that the latter have a chance to qualify. They have lost four of their last five matches, and play Bengaluru Bulls next.
Probability: Highly unlikely.
UP Yoddhas
Points Table Status: 11
M- 17; P-28; W-4
This hasn’t been their season, and have no chance to qualify from here. Even if they win all their matches, they would finish eighth or ninth at max.
Probability: Impossible.

Telugu Titans
Points Table Status: 12
M- 18; P-16; W-2
Even the inclusion of Pawan Sehrawat has not made any difference to their fortunes, as they continue to be the last in the points table. With nothing much to play for, they should look to get a few wins under the belt, and start planning for the next season already.
Probability: Impossible.
