For months, the fate of the Asia Cup 2025 hung in the spotlight amid political tensions that stalled India–Pakistan cricket fixtures. Though bilateral clashes remain off the table, the Indian government has now clarified that multinational tournaments like the Asia Cup will go ahead as planned. That means the high-voltage India vs Pakistan showdown on September 14 in Dubai is not going anywhere.
