Fans left disappointed at Sarfaraz Khan being snubbed for IND vs ENG 2nd Test

Sarfaraz Khan’s wait for a Test debut continued as Rajat Patidar got the nod for the IND vs ENG 2nd Test in Visakhapatnam. Both players were included in the squad due to injuries to KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja. However, Patidar was chosen over Sarfaraz to replace Rahul, while Kuldeep Yadav came in for Jadeja.

The fans however took to social media to express displeasure at Sarfaraz’s omission, especially considering his remarkable first-class average of 69.85, far surpassing Patidar’s 45.97. With 45 first-class games and 3912 runs to his name, Sarfaraz has showcased consistent performance in his young career.
