He wrote on X, “RCB are IPL Champions finally after 18 years. Superb campaign right through the 2025 tournament. A well balanced team Playing Bold with outstanding coaching and support staff. Many congratulations! Ee sala cup namde!!” He added in another post, his vision 18 years back, when he picked up the legendary Virat Kohli.

Sid Mallya Can’t Contain Excitement Too
On the other hand, his son Siddharth Mallya’s celebration after RCB lifted the cup, went viral. In the first few years, when Mallya was associated with the team, Siddharth was seen in the team camp.
Meanwhile, as far as the match is concerned, RCB went on to pile 190 runs after batting first. Kohli was the top-scorer and added 43 runs to the total. Come the chase, Krunal Pandya was excellent with 2/17, to win it for the team.
