Leg-spinner Harsh Dubey is set to make his debut in the Indian Premier League in the LSG vs SRH IPL 2025 match. To note, SRH signed Harsh Dubey as a replacement for Smaran Ravichandran, who was ruled out of the remainder of the IPL (2025).
Who is Harsh Dubey?
Harsh Dubey has made a significant impact in Indian domestic cricket while representing Vidarbha. In the previous edition of the Ranji Trophy, Dubey created history by picking up 69 wickets, surpassing Ashutosh Aman’s previous record of 68 wickets set during the 2018-19 season. His impressive bowling played a crucial role in Vidarbha clinching the title, further cementing his reputation as a rising star in Indian cricket.
In the limited-over formats, Harsh Dubey has shown glimpses of his ability but is still refining his craft. In List A matches, he has taken 21 wickets in 20 innings, maintaining an average of 34.66. Meanwhile, in T20 cricket, he has picked up nine wickets from 16 innings while keeping his economy rate at an impressive 6.78.
