In what is a big relief for Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Josh Hazlewood is all set to return to India when IPL 2025 restarts. There was uncertainty over his availability for the remainder of the league, partly because of his shoulder niggle. Hazlewood has been RCB’s best bowler in the death overs so far in IPL 2025.
Hazlewood boost for RCB
As per Hindustan Times, Hazlewood is confirmed to link up with RCB for the rest of the IPL 2025 season. However, the exact date of his arrival in India is still unknown. In 10 matches, the Australian pacer has 18 wickets to his name and averages 17.27.
Hazlewood was left out of RCB’s last match due to a shoulder injury. He returned home along with other Australian stars after IPL 2025 was suspended for seven days due to tensions between India and Pakistan.
Talking about RCB, the team is currently 2nd on the IPL 2025 standings with 16 points to their name. With three games left in the league stage, Patidar and co. need just one more victory to seal a spot in the IPL 2025 playoffs.
