The cat is out of the bag. In what comes as a good news for Shubman Gill’s GT, England batter Jos Butter and South Africa’s Gerald Coetzee are all set to be back for the IPL 2025, on May 14. The tournament is scheduled to restart on the 17th of the month, after it was stopped midway a few days back.

Interestingly, Buttler and Coetzee were the only two foreign players from the squad who had left India. The likes of Rashid Khan, Sherfane Rutherford, Kagiso Rabada, and Karim Janat were in India only. Meanwhile, GT are one of the contenders for the IPL trophy, and are currently topping the table, but are yet to qualify for the playoffs.
