PBKS Predicted XI vs LSG: No Maxwell a blessing, team can rope in Stoinis instead

PBKS is just a point above DC and their qualification is not at all certain at this point of time. Truth be told, both Delhi and Punjab have equally good teams, and to make the cut for IPL playoffs, both would need to come up with their best set of XI players on their match days. On Sunday, as PBKS face LSG in Dharamsala, it becomes imperative for Shreyas Iyer to make the correct choices.

InsideSport takes a look at the PBKS Predicted XI for the LSG encounter.

NO Glenn Maxwell, A Blessing in Disguise

Finally, the team has gotten rid of Maxwell; albeit due to a finger fracture. And that means, someone more valuable comes in. That opens the gates for the likes of Marcus Stoinis, Azmatullah Omarzai or even Suryansh Shedge, Maxwell had scored only 30 runs in 7 matches, at an average of 8.

Meanwhile, the team has roped in the services of Mitchell Owen as well, who is also an all-rounder. Suddenly, the team will have much more balance in the side.

Harpreet Brar & Stoinis Become Must Haves

Somehow the team has been going with Xavier Bartlett, but then the team has to go with Harpreet Brar and Stoinis as all-rounders. The other all-rounder in the team will be Suryansh Shedge. While these three haven’t been at their best so far in the IPL 2025, but can really change the match in overs. The team should also do away with keeper Josh Inglis, who has only scored 62 runs in 5 matches. Prabhsimran Singh can keep wickets.

PBKS Predicted XI vs LSG: Priyansh Arya, Prabhsimran Singh (WK), Shreyas Iyer (c), Marcus Stoinis, Nehal Wadhera, Shashank Singh, Marco Jansen, Azmatullah Omarzai, Suryansh Shedge, Harpreet Brar, Yuzvendra Chahal, Arshdeep Singh
