Lahore Qalandars playing XI for PSL 2024

Defending champs of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Lahore Qalandars maintained stability in their core group but face a potential setback with the probable absence of their star spinner Rashid Khan. Despite retaining a strong trio of Pakistan pacers in Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, and Zaman Khan, the team’s effectiveness in the middle-overs without Rashid’s four economical overs remains uncertain.

In the previous season, Lahore found an unexpected savior in Shaheen Afridi’s lower-order power-hitting. Whether this can evolve into a consistent strategy for success remains uncertain and will be revealed as the season progresses. Let us take a look at the Lahore Qalandars playing XI for PSL 2024.

Despite missing Rashid Khan, Lahore Qalandars still boast a very decent bowling line-up. The likes of Fakhar Zaman, Shai Hope, Rassie van der Dussen and Sikandar Raza are expected to do bulk of the scoring for the PSL defending champions. Shaheen Afridi and Co. will take on Islamabad United in the opening match of the PSL 2024. The next edition of the Pakistan Super League is set to kick-off from February 17 (Saturday) onwards.
