Rahane’s another single digit score has put Mumbai on the backfoot, still trailing by 21 runs with 4 wickets in hands.
The veteran batter, who is aiming for an India comeback, is yet to play a significant innings in the ongoing Ranji Trophy match.

Meanwhile, UP are in driver’s seat, courtesy of skipper Nitish Rana’s century in the first innings. Rana’s seventh first-class ton powered Uttar Pradesh to 324/10 in their first innings, taking a significant lead of 126 runs.
