Ubisoft has released Assassin’s Creed Shadows, the latest installment in the acclaimed franchise, worldwide. The game is available on Ubisoft+, PlayStation5, Xbox Series X|S, Amazon Luna, Macs with Apple silicon via the Mac App Store, and Windows PC through the Ubisoft Store, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. Assassin’s Creed Shadows is also Steam Deck verified.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows Is Now Available
Developed by Ubisoft Québec, the studio behind Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Assassin’s Creed Shadows immerses players in the turbulent era of 16th-century Japan. Players will navigate the intertwined stories of Naoe, a skilled shinobi assassin, and Yasuke, the legendary samurai, encountering historical figures and influencing the nation’s path to unification.
As the first major open-world RPG in the series since Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Assassin’s Creed Shadows leverages the latest ANVIL engine to deliver a visually stunning and immersive experience. Features include dynamic seasonal weather, real-time lighting and shadows, detailed landscapes, and interactive, destructible environments.
