Steve Smith total centuries in ODIs

Australia’s star batter Steve Smith has announced his retirement from the ODI format after Australia was knocked out of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 by India in the semifinal at the Dubai International Stadium.

Smith has long been compared to Indian superstar Virat Kohli, with debates often revolving around who is the better player. Now that the right-handed batter has concluded his ODI career, it’s time to take a look at his overall ODI statistics and the total number of centuries he has scored in the format.

Steve Smith’s total centuries in ODIs

Steve Smith concluded his ODI career with 12 centuries. His last ODI hundred came on September 11, 2022, against New Zealand, where he scored 105 at Cazalys Stadium in Cairns. He registered his first ODI century on October 7, 2014, against Pakistan in Sharjah, scoring 101. From there, he continued to pile up centuries over the years. The year 2016 was his best in ODIs, as he notched up three centuries. India was his favourite opposition, against whom he scored the most centuries, four in total.
