The upcoming season of Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT) is set to return in 2025, with Ahmedabad making its debut as a host city. The sixth season will run from May 29 to June 15, 2025, during which eight teams, including Indian and international players, will compete for the title. Goa Challengers are the current defending champions, and they will aim for the third season win in Ahmedabad.
Ahmedabad welcomes UTT in between Olympic aspirations
Ahmedabad is quickly becoming a sports hub in India, with aspirations to host big events like the 2030 Youth Olympics and the 2036 Olympic Games. Hosting UTT’s sixth season at the state-of-the-art EKA Arena will have world-class table tennis and promote the sport further in India. Fans can look forward to exciting matchups featuring top stars.
UTT’s Role in Indian Table tennis
Kamlesh Mehta, Secretary of the Table Tennis Federation of India, acknowledged UTT’s impact on the sport: “Ultimate Table Tennis has been instrumental in transforming the table tennis landscape in India.” The league provides a platform for players to compete with international talent, boosting grassroots and elite-level growth.

Eight teams are currently part of the Ultimate Table Tennis Tournament. The tournament initially started with 6 teams, which later turned into 8.

Where to watch UTT 2025?
UTT have not shared the broadcasting partners for the upcoming season. However, the league was last telecsted on Sports 18 and Jio Cinema. This year we can hope for the broadcasting rights to go to JioHotstar, Sports 18 and Sports Star.
