The cartwheel celebration is not new to sports aficionados. However, this celebration is mostly seen on football pitches, with cricket grounds more used to stretched arm or fist-pumping celebrations.

Australia were 24-4 at Dinner on the second day of the second Test in Brisbane, having bowled out the West Indies for 311. Sinclair, on debut, had hit a half-century and counter-attacked late in the innings to bring up his 50 with an over boundary off Nathan Lyon, getting out in the next delivery.

Sinclair went for quite a few runs when he came to bowl. He was hit for four boundaries in the space of three overs before he finally made the breakthrough.

Sinclair bowled round the wicket to Khawaja’s left-handed bat, lofting the ball high and finding a grip off the pitch to get Khawaja’s outside edge. Athanaze took an easy catch at first slip, giving Sinclair his first Test scalp.
