Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have begun preparations for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, with R Russell and fielding coach Rajiv joining the camp. Players are expected to arrive soon for practice sessions. The franchise is strengthening its support staff, recently appointing Sridharan Sriram as an assistant coach and Rajiv as the fielding coach on Tuesday (February 25).

Sridharan Sriram appointed as assistant coach
CSK appointed Sridharan Sriram as their assistant coach for IPL 2025 on February 24. A former Indian cricketer, Sriram played eight ODIs (2000-2004) and was part of India’s 2000 Champions Trophy runner-up squad. He later served as Bangladesh’s T20I technical consultant until the 2022 T20 World Cup.
