As we approach the final stages of the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) 2025 league matches, the race to secure a spot in the semifinals is intensifying. Out of the 7 teams, two teams have already qualified and one team is eliminated from the race. Meanwhile, four teams are fighting hard to secure their spots for the semifinals.   1. Karnataka Bulldozers: They have secured their semifinal spot with 6 points and an impressive net run rate (NRR) of +2.12, making them one of the top contenders so far.
  2. Bengal Tigers: Also on 6 points, the Bengals boast an unbeaten record in 3 matches with a solid NRR of +0.861, ensuring their place in the next stage.

Teams who have chance to qualify for CCL 2025 semifinals

  1. Chennai Rhinos: On 4 points with an NRR of -0.074, the Rhinos’ fate largely depends on the outcomes of the remaining matches. They will need favorable results from other games to advance, being currently idle after completing their fixtures.
  2. Punjab De Sher: With 4 points and an NRR of -0.201, Punjab De Sher face a crucial match against the Mumbai Heroes. A victory will likely secure their advancement, given they manage to either maintain or improve their NRR.
