Highest totals in Champions Trophy history Ft. England

England made history in the ICC Champions Trophy by posting the highest-ever team total, scoring 351 for eight in 50 overs against Australia at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Saturday.

England broke New Zealand’s record of 347 for four, set against the USA in 2004 at The Oval, by posting a massive 351 for eight. The highlight of England’s innings was opener Ben Duckett’s brilliant 165 off 143 balls, the highest individual score in ICC Champions Trophy history, surpassing Nathan Astle’s unbeaten 145.

Duckett was well-supported by Joe Root, who scored 68 off 78 balls, with the duo forging a vital 158-run partnership for the third wicket. Jofra Archer provided the finishing touch, smashing 12 runs off the last three balls to push England past the previous record.
