The Mumbai Indians (MI) won’t play their first home match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season on March 31. The five-time champions will play two away games before returning to the Wankhede Stadium. For the uninformed, IPL 2025 will kick off on March 22 at the Eden Gardens, with defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders taking on the Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
“MI will play their first two matches away, before playing their first home game at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on March 31,” a source told the Times of India.
