Another India match and there is another pitch invasion. This time, a Rohit Sharma fan crossed the barrier to meet India captain during IND vs ENG 1st Test. However, it did not sit well with former India captain Sunil Gavaskar. He criticised the security arrangement, who were focused on watching the match instead of keeping a tab on stadium security.
“The problem is that they (security personnel) watch the match instead of watching the crowd. Cricketers are hugely popular and this keeps happening,” Sunil Gavaskar said on the commentary on JioCinema during IND vs ENG 1st Test.

Similarly, in another World Cup incident, famous prankster Jarvo invaded the pitch during India vs Australia match. However, he met with strong response from KL Rahul.
