Starting tomorrow (Wednesday), senior lawyer Shah Khawar is set to officially take charge and will continue in the role until the upcoming Board elections. Meanwhile, Mohsin Naqvi, the caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab, will fulfill his duties as a governing body member of the PCB during this period.
It’s noteworthy that Shah Khawar, in his capacity as the Election Commissioner PCB, will oversee the impending Cricket Board elections, while Mohsin Naqvi is slated to participate as a candidate for the position of Chairman PCB.
Earlier this week, in response to Zaka Ashraf’s resignation, the caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar had designated Mohsin Naqvi as the interim Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
