With the Sheffield Shield scheduled to commence next week and having already missed the BBL 2023, the concussion comes as the latest blow to the already fatigued Pucovski.

Earmarked as a special talent right from a young age, Pucovski was all set to partner David Warner at the top in the Ashes series Down Under. A freak head injury meant Pucovski had to take his 11th concussion test. The 24-year-old has played just one first-class game post his Test debut due to a series of concussions, meaning that an opportunity with the Australian squad has also gone begging multiple times.
