U19 World Cup Points Table (Updated): India second in Group A despite win, Pakistan tops Group D

The ICC U19 World Cup has started. With the young guns keen to shine, all eyes will be on the performance of the youngsters. In the opening day of the tournament, Ireland defeated USA while South Africa edged past West Indies. On the other hand, defending champions India comfortably defeated Bangladesh in their opening encounter.

The Pakistan Cricket Team too started their game with a big win over Afghanistan. Elsewhere, England carved out a simple win over neighbours Scotland.

India U19 Team, under the captaincy of able skipper Uday Saharan began their journey win a heft 84 run win over Bangladesh.

ICC U19 World Cup 2024: Groups

Group A – Bangladesh, India, Ireland, USA

Group B – England, Scotland, South Africa, West Indies

Group C – Australia, Namibia, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe

Group D – Afghanistan, Nepal, New Zealand, Pakistan

In Group A, Ireland tops the charts over India, on the other hand, England is above South Africa in group B. No matches have been played in Group C so far. Lastly, in group D, Pakistan tops the charts.
