The son of legendary Sachin Tendulkar, Arjun is slowly starting to come up with consistent performances in the Ranji Trophy for Goa, at least with the bat. The all-rounder slammed his second consecutive fifty (52 from 112 balls), at a time when his side was in deep trouble, in the game against Karnataka.
After being reduced to 196/7 at one stage, Arjun strung a partnership of 93 with Heramb Parab (53), to take Goa to a respectable 321 all out. The Jr. Tendulkar stood like a rock at one end, and made sure no further wickets fell. In fact, he was the last man to be dismissed, by Vijaykumar Vyshak.
