Mohammed Shami in all likelihood will miss the entire IND vs ENG Test series. The fast bowler has been out since World Cup final with an ankle injury. He was not named in the first two India vs England Tests. But BCCI expected him to return for the last three Tests. However, after reporting to the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru, doctors have advised him to consult a specialist in London. NCA’s Head of sports science division Nitin Patel will accompany him to the UK.
Therefore, Mohammed Shami is likely to miss the last three IND vs ENG Tests as well. As reported by InsideSport earlier, Mohammed Shami reported to the NCA earlier this week for injury assessment.
