OTD: India’s former captain MS Dhoni and flamboyant cricketer Yuvraj Singh scored their last centuries in International cricket in 2017 in a match against England in Cuttack.
Yuvraj Singh smashed 150 runs in 127 balls with 21 fours and three sixes.
Bringing up his tenth ODI hundred, MS Dhoni scored 134 off 122 balls with 10 fours and 6 sixes. This was former captain of India’s first century in an ODI after four years.
The captain cool also crossed the 4000 run mark to became the second batter after Sachin Tendulkar to achieve that milestone in IND vs ENG.

India gave a total of 381/6 to surpass their score against Sri Lanka in 2014 of 363/5 at the venue to become the highest score in Cuttack.
After opener Jason Roy and Joe Root set the tone for the chase with a century partnership, England captain Eoin Morgan took the lead. Morgan scored six fours and five sixes in 80 balls to reach his century. However, they fell short as India restricted them at 366/8, winning the match by mere 15 runs.
