Former India bowling coach Bharat Arun is heading to Sri Lanka after the board obtained his services to provide training for local coaches, and trainers, as per a release. Apart from Arun, Jonty Rhodes, and Alex Kountouri have also been roped in for the same.
“Sri Lanka Cricket decided to obtain the services of some of the best-known talents in international cricket to provide advanced training for local coaches, trainers, and physiotherapists to enhance their skills and competencies by conducting periodic training programmes in selected areas,” the release read.

The announcement was made at the Executive Committee meeting of the SLC. One of the other announcements that was made was, to award the junior cricketers at different levels, in U-15 and U-17 cricket. The SLC also decided to increase the pay of the players in the National Super League.
